About the Role:
The installer would be responsible for installation of the BBU business POS in retailers across the UK.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- The completion of given installation and Merchandising schedule safely and efficiently
- For the checking of hardware and sampling material before loading onto their van ready for installation
- The correct recording and delivery of Job Cards including accompanying photograph of the completed installation
- Ensuring a timely arrival of jobs
- Efficient loading of own van
- Improving the efficiency of their installations wherever possible
- To act wholeheartedly in the interests of the Headlam Group at all times
- Liaise with line management to develop best practice
- May be required to train both internal and external team members in the assembly of hardware
- Report any issues with retailers to the Excellence Operations Manager
- Responsible for advising retailers their time of arrival
About you:
This role will require the following;
Essential
- A willingness to listen and learn
- Full driving license
- Manual handling skills
- Attention to detail
- Available to stay out overnight when required, approx. 2 nights per week
Desirable
- Previous Merchandising ability
- Building of flat pack furniture
- Problem solving
- Driving "Sprinter" size vans
- The use of an iPad or Apple software
- Record keeping and writing of reports
- Good communication skills
- Demonstration of good organisational skills
- Demonstration of good time-management skills
