About the Role:

Florco is a highly regarded distributor of premium quality domestic and commercial floorcovering products with an unrivalled range to transform any living space – from carpets, vinyl, laminates, LVT and commercial sheet / tiles flooring.

We also supply customers with the tools and accessories to complete the job – the range includes floor preparation, underlay, screed and adhesive products.

Our Sales team provides quality, choice and availability to Retailers & Contractors across the M40 Corridor including the following postcode OX, HP, MK, RG, SL.

This is all underpinned by an in-house distribution fleet, enabling first-class customer service and responsive delivery. Small wonder that Florco is the partner of choice for so many customers across the retail & commercial sectors.

And what’s more, we are part of the growing, successful Headlam Group – Europe’s biggest Floor Covering Distributor offering additional commercial, product, systems and supply chain strength and support to the Florco business.

We are looking for an Area Sales Representative to take on the well-established North London and Middlesex location.

The successful candidate should be:

You will be responsible for:

  • Promoting products, placing various point of sale, to help drive sales.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers so they have confidence in you and a good working knowledge of products we offer.
  • Developing existing accounts and prospecting for new business opportunities.


About You:

We’re looking for a sales professional who shares our passion for the floor covering sector; its products and trends. You’ll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this amazing range and build both excitement and commitment in your customers.

It’s a pretty large geography – so you’ll be organised, structured and conscientious in how you approach your territory and journey planning, reporting and follow-up activity.

Being out on the road means you’ll need to be self-reliant and self-motivated, but we’d like you to be a great team player too! We have a strong team ethos and encourage all colleagues to work together to provide the best experience for our customers.

In particular you’ll bring:

  • Sales success – in a retail, wholesale or other customer-facing role.
  • An impressive track record of driving sales via a consultative-selling approach.
  • You’ll ideally have some experience in a floor coverings, soft furnishings, DIY or home-related sector – or an interest you’d like to develop.
  • Strong organisation skills and experience of working with CRM or similar systems.
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for exploring new opportunities to build business with your customers. 
  • A full, clean Driving Licence.
